Christmas Movie Night
The senior pupils enjoyed an evening filled with snacks and laughs as they watched The Christmas Chronicles.
Santa even managed to stop by to deliver a gift to each pupil, getting them in the festive spirit!
Festive Drawing Competition
Pupils across all classes took part in the Lifestars festive drawing competition. There were so many amazing entries, and it was certainly a hard task choosing the winners!
The winners in the P4-7 category are Brooke (1st), Tobi (2nd) & Julia (3rd)👏 In the P1-3 category Sophie (1st), Shayla (2nd) & Morgan (3rd) 👏 Thank you to all pupils for your beautiful festive drawings of what Christmas means to you❤️⭐️
Trip to Cormack Park
Day out with Aberdeen FC Comunity Trust
Future Football Stars ⚽
113 students from Hanover Primary School had a ball during their visit to the Aberdeen Football Club's sports campus at Cormack Park in Westhill.
Ages P5 to P7, the students enjoyed an afternoon of pure excitement led by Kieran Hamill and Scott Duncan from the Aberdeen FC Community Trust - the kids were over the moon to learn footy tips and tricks from the dons.

Dalguise June 2023
Primary 7 Residential Trip
We can't contain our excitement as we look back on the incredible 4-day trip to Dalguise Activity Centre with the amazing Primary 7 students from Hanover Street Primary School ✨
The kids had an absolute blast and couldn't stop talking about it, calling it the "BEST trip ever!" 😍
From thrilling activities like fencing, abseiling, canoeing, zip wire and a GIANT swing, to mastering forest survival skills, our trip had it all! The children had the opportunity to participate in their favourite activities, creating unforgettable memories. And let's not forget the cosy campfire nights!
What made this trip truly special was the incredible bond the children formed with their classmates before arriving at the academy. The support they showed one another was unparalleled, with constant encouragement and cheers, especially during activities that may have seemed a little daunting at first.

Careers Fairs at Hanover
We have now held two Lifestars Careers Fair at Hanover Street Primary School 🏫 Our keen P5-7’s love exploring the world of work t and learning about the jobs around them, and even how to operate a crane, albeit a toy one! 🏗️Thank you so much to STORK, CNR International, Centurion, Peterson, Solab, Prospect13, GAC and Aberdeen Football Club for supporting these events over the past two years! Your knowledge and time is vital in educating the next generation of workers.
